Director’s Call
for ‘THE MATRIARCHY’
Seeking a director for ‘The Matriarchy’ a multi-generational full length play to be performed in both Mankato and Fairmont in June 2012.
Director will receive compensation and limited per diem. BERWorkshop will produce. Seeking experienced director. Director’s call is open first to Mankato Area candidates before call goes out to the Minneapolis/St Paul artist community.
Play Synopsis: Six women from one family come together after the funeral of the patriarch only to discover secrets that once kept them apart might bring them together. Don’t expect a happy ending, but then again—never discount the tenacity of The Matriarchy.
